Pyramid Healthcare’s Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT) delivers comprehensive, person-centered mental health care for individuals living with serious and persistent mental illness. Our ACTT team brings individualized care and support directly to clients who may otherwise struggle to access care throughout the Mars Hill, NC region. Our Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACT) employs a highly effective, evidence-based approach to supporting individuals with complex mental health needs. Pyramid Healthcare’s Mars Hill ACTT brings a full team of mental health professionals to the client—providing care in homes, neighborhoods and other community settings. 

Our goal is to reduce hospitalizations, promote independence and help individuals build meaningful lives while managing their mental health conditions. We focus on long-term stability, skill-building and personal empowerment. 

Our ACTT team includes psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, case managers, vocational specialists, peer support professionals and substance use counselors. Together, we provide: 

Pyramid Healthcare’s Mars Hill ACTT supports individuals living with severe mental health conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder and major depressive disorder. Many of our clients also experience co-occurring challenges, such as substance use or housing instability. ACTT services are ideal for individuals who need more than traditional outpatient care and benefit from ongoing, wraparound support.
