Pyramid's Continuum of Care

We offer a full continuum of high-quality behavioral health services for adults in North Carolina struggling with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. From detox and residential treatment to outpatient care and community-based programs, Pyramid Healthcare ensures a seamless and consistent recovery journey across all levels of care.

Detox (Coming Soon)
Detox (Coming Soon)
Withdrawing from drugs or alcohol without medical support can be dangerous and may increase the risk of relapse as individuals turn to substances to ease symptoms.

Though withdrawal symptoms vary, medically supervised detox is often the safest option for those with a history of addiction. It offers a secure, supportive setting with 24/7 medical care to manage the acute stages of withdrawal.

Detox services are coming soon to Pyramid Healthcare in Concord, NC, providing a safe starting point for recovery from substance use.

Residential Treatment (Coming Soon)
Residential Treatment
In residential treatment programs, clients live on-site with access to 24/7 supervision and support. Stays typically last between 30 to 90 days, depending on individual needs, and days are structured with therapy, activities, and medical care.

Residential care is ideal for those who have completed detox and no longer need medical stabilization. It’s also recommended for individuals with unmanaged symptoms or for those who have not succeeded in previous treatment attempts.

Residential services are coming soon to Pyramid Healthcare in Concord, NC, offering a structured and supportive environment to continue the recovery journey after detox.

Substance Abuse Comprehensive Outpatient Treatment (SACOT)
Substance Abuse Comprehensive Outpatient Treatment (SACOT)
Substance Abuse Comprehensive Outpatient Treatment (SACOT) in North Carolina offers intensive, structured care for individuals with substance use disorders or co-occurring mental health conditions who do not require 24-hour supervision. Similar to day programs, SACOT typically involves several hours of therapy and support each day, five days a week, totaling 20 or more hours weekly.

SACOT is not residential treatment but provides a higher level of care than traditional outpatient services. It can serve as a step down from inpatient rehab or a step up from SAIOP (Substance Use Intensive Outpatient), based on the individual’s specific treatment needs.

Pyramid Healthcare offers SACOT in North Carolina to help clients in early recovery build stability and maintain momentum through structured clinical programming, daily therapeutic support, and consistent engagement—all while returning home or to supportive housing each evening.

Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program (SAIOP)
Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program (SAIOP)
Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Programs (SAIOP) in North Carolina offer non-residential treatment for individuals struggling with substance use disorders or co-occurring mental health conditions. SAIOP provides fewer treatment hours per week than Substance Use Comprehensive Outpatient Treatment (SACOT), while still delivering structured, clinically driven support.

SAIOP is ideal for individuals who need continued care without the need for 24-hour supervision. It also serves as a step-down level of care for clients who are transitioning from residential treatment or SACOT.

Pyramid Healthcare’s SAIOP services in North Carolina help individuals sustain recovery while managing work, school, and personal responsibilities—supporting long-term success in everyday life.

Outpatient Treatment
Outpatient Treatment
Outpatient treatment in North Carolina is a non-residential level of care that allows clients to live at home while attending therapy. Adults typically participate for fewer than 9 hours per week, while adolescents attend for fewer than 6 hours.

This level of care is best suited for individuals with mild substance use symptoms or as ongoing support after completing higher levels of treatment, such as residential rehab.

Pyramid Healthcare’s outpatient services in North Carolina provide flexible, continued care to help clients maintain progress in recovery.
