ACTT (Assertive Community Treatment Team) is an evidence-based service model that provides comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for individuals with serious mental health needs who may not benefit from traditional outpatient settings. Instead of requiring clients to come to a facility, ACTT brings services to them—right in their homes and local communities. 

The goal of ACTT is to reduce hospitalizations, improve quality of life and empower individuals to live independently while managing their mental health. Pyramid Rocky Mount ACTT focuses on building trusting relationships and providing wraparound support in the real-world settings where daily life unfolds. 

Our ACTT team includes psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, case managers, vocational specialists, peer support professionals and substance use counselors. Together, we provide: 

ACTT services are ideal for individuals experiencing serious and persistent behavioral health conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder or co-occurring substance use disorders. Many of our clients have a history of hospitalizations, housing instability or difficulty engaging in traditional mental health programs.
