Individuals who contact Pyramid Healthcare receive a timely evaluation appointment – often within 24-48 hours of the call. Ambulatory Detox in Dayton, Ohio
Ambulatory detox is outpatient detoxification from substances and is also known as withdrawal management. This differs from medically-monitored detox, which is a residential, 24-hour supervised detox program and is more suitable for people who have a prolonged history of substance use. Clients are assessed for appropriateness for ambulatory detox upon intake based on history, presenting withdrawal symptoms, current needs and other considerations.
Mental Health Day Treatment (MHDT)
Mental Health Day Treatment (MHDT), also known as Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), is designed to stabilize more severe mental health symptoms in adults such as depression, anxiety, bi-polar disorder, PTSD, ADHD, OCD, self-harm and suicidal ideation. This mental health facility in Dayton, OH focuses on development of recovery skills, day-to-day coping strategies and management of symptoms and triggers. This highly structured program includes group therapy (5 days/week) and at least one hour of individual therapy.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in Dayton, Ohio
Intensive outpatient (IOP) is often a step-down after completion of MHDT, PHP or a residential program. This program meets 3 days/week and includes process psychotherapy, recovery skill-building and education.
Outpatient Program (OP) in Dayton, Ohio
Outpatient treatment includes weekly outpatient groups and/or individual therapy. Clients from IOP treatment who demonstrate progress toward treatment goals often graduate to outpatient services to achieve sustained, long-term recovery with weekly groups and/or individual therapy and support.
Case Management
Our case management team can help to eliminate barriers to treatment, improve access to community resources, develop prosocial skills and collaborate with individuals to improve their care and quality of life. This service is available to all clients, regardless of diagnosis or degree of progress in the program.
Peer Recovery Support
Peer Recovery Specialists (PRS) coach clients on topics such as developing local resources within the recovery community, enhancement of self-management skills and outreach/engagement support.
