Veterans Affairs Community Care Network (VA-CCN)
Pyramid Healthcare is a proud member of the Veterans Affairs Community Care Network (VA-CCN).
The VA-CCN gives veterans timely and convenient access to behavioral healthcare treatment through a network of facilities that are pre-approved to accept veteran benefits. The Community Care Network (CCN) uses industry-standard practices and guidelines to administer treatment and promptly pay for services.
Both a referral from a doctor and an authorization from the VA are required to pay for treatment through a facility in the VA-CCN. One way to secure these is to make an appointment with your primary care doctor through your local VA office. If you are seeking treatment for substance use, mental health or co-occurring disorders through Pyramid Healthcare, you can discuss using the Community Care Network with your doctor to access treatment.
Navigating the VA and your benefits can feel overwhelming or frustrating when you’re ready to take the next step in your treatment journey. The admissions team at Pyramid Healthcare has specialists with expertise in the CCN system, and we’ve helped countless veterans access the treatment they need and deserve. If you need help accessing your benefits, contacting the VA or starting any part of the CCN process, we’re here to assist you every step of the way.
Unfortunately, not all veterans are eligible for coverage via the VA-CCN. Pyramid Healthcare is in-network with most commercial insurance providers and accepts Medicaid.
